
High Voltage Test Systems
High voltage test systems are used in high energy physics and materials testing applications. These often need bespoke HV generators to create the required conditions and ESC has built a number of these systems up to 750kV peak output. Various technologies are possible from simple hard switched to stacked generators.

HV Pulse Generators
We have worked with many customers, with a diverse set of requirements. From designing and building single shot PFN based generators for component testing, to HV arbitrary waveform generators to 250kV for materials science, we have built some interesting systems.
Our experience extends to thyratron based systems for high frequency pulses.

Control Systems
ESC designs, builds and installs new control solutions for existing high voltage applications. We can help specify replacements for obsolete power supplies or safety components to bring legacy systems into reliable and safe use.

Enclosures & Safe Access Systems
Our benchtop high-voltage enclosures and safe access systems can be manufactured to one of our tried and tested designs or to meet a customer’s specific requirements. Using bleed and dump circuits combined with timed access safe operation can be achieved.
These systems can be used in atmosphere or temperature controlled enclosures.
Built to ESC C.O.T.S. design or to customer print. These acrylic enclosures are designed for voltages up to 50kv.

Mobile Test Equipment
We designed of a number of bespoke high-voltage and mobile equipment. Typically they are part of a field service test procedure, where a known set of conditions need to be applied to the UUT. This includes vacuum, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical disciplines.
